Luke, Stephanie, Martine, Danny, Filip and Ciara along with Emer, Sinead and Helen are so thrilled to be learning and having fun together this year.
NOVEMBER November has been an exciting month so far with our new swings in the playground and we had lots of fun too during science week in our classroom! We explored energy and forces with a magic glove experiment, skittle colour magic, colourful milk as well as making gloop and volcanoes! A great week was had by all! Cormac surprised everyone during music class by bringing a snare drum to class. It was very exciting and everyone had a turn playing the drum using drum sticks and learning to keep a beat.
OCTOBER The children have been enjoying the outdoors during the past month and are playing so well together on our new climbing structures. They are so happy to be back at school and playing together. In our classroom, everyone has been so busy learning and surprising us with their great work and accomplishments. Halloween comes to St. Joseph's Special School
We had fun examining and exploring the parts of our class pumpkin. We picked out the seeds for roasting and carved out a funny face. It was so exciting on a dark day to see our Jack O Lantern shine.
Baboro at St. Joseph's Special School We had a very special class presentation from Philida and her friends for the Baboro festival. Everyone enjoyed the sensory experiences. Picking apples, catching fish, building a camp fire and watching the night fall and the sun rise inside the tent. What a very special event.
October fun inside and outside the classroom
