The Food Pyramid
This week we learned about the Food Pyramid. Senior 1 divided our food packages into the different food groups; Fruits and Vegetables, Carbohydrates, Dairy, Protein and Fats.

Christmas 2020!
What a year it has been! We had a visit from Santa, sizzling sausages in the canteen and snowball fights in P.E. Class! Senior 1 have definitely been good this year Santa! We would like to wish all of our friends and family a very Merry Christmas!

We had great fun with Karen who had us focusing on our hand and eye coordination with different socially distant ball games as well as controlling and kicking a soccer ball and our favorite game the parachute.

In wood work we will be making bird houses for our feathered friends .
Out and about ..Its so nice to go for a walk to the garden center on a sunny day to choose some plants for our school garden .
Time to cook ..If there is one thing we like more than making pancakes during cookery ,,, its eating them .

Senior 1 Go Shopping to The Sweet Shop
This week Senior 1 were learning about money! We all had great fun buying sweets using the 5c, 10c, 20c, 50 c, 1 euro and 2 euro coins we learned about in class! No shopping trip would be complete without a bag, a shopping list and money. Our shopkeeper was very helpful and made sure to give everyone their receipt! A good trip was had by all!
