As usual there is lots happening in St Joseph's. Last week we had a visit from staff at the National Aquarium which is located in Salthill. Pupils were introduced to lots of strange items that can be found in the sea. There are more pictures of the event on class pages.
The visit was well timed as this week on Wednesday some pupils are going on a visit to the aquarium. After the visit they will be going for lunch in the Galway Bay hotel.

Special Olympics activities are well underway. Karen has been busy training pupils in gymnastic routines. 12 pupils are going to a regional gymnastic event in Renmore on Wednesday.
We are delighted to welcome back Marion Jennings from Galway Autism Partnership (GAP).She is delivering her photography course to pupils in Senior 6. This was a great success last year and we look forward to seeing the results from this years group.
Speaking of GAP pupils and staff in Senior 2 and Senior 3 were delighted to be invited to the opening of the re-furbished GAP house- Tigh Ronain. Getting to meet Keith Duffy was certainly a highlight of the day.
