Thanks to all involved for participating; the assessment team were very excited to see all the hard work done by teachers and students. The standard of log books and the wide variety of science and maths work being carried out is very impressive; it is clear that teachers and pupils are using a wide range of resources (including the DPSM and Greenwave websites) and engaging in hands-on investigation in the classroom and beyond.

St Joseph’s is a special school under the patronage of the voluntary organisation Ability West. Education in all aspects of the primary school curriculum is provided for pupils between the ages 4- 18 who have moderate general learning disabilities. Programmes are designed to meet individual needs so as to enable pupils to reach their full potential.
