Many thanks to The Barcelo Brothers who entertained us on Thursday with not one, but two concerts, for our pupils!  Fantastic music and lots of great dancing!

A very exciting week ahead in St. Joseph's with live events planned for our pupils in the hall.  With huge thanks to Galway City Council and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports & Media, we welcomed back Stephen from Juggle.ie to kick start the events!  Great excitement & enjoyment was had by all!

Six of our staff took part in St. Joseph's very first Erasmus trip this October. We travelled to Croatia to visit another special school. and learned lots. We took part in art therapy, ceramics and music classes and observed other classes in progress. We also visited a mainstream school and learned about how the special and mainstream schools work together to support each other. We are looking forward to our next trip in the new year, hopefully Northern Ireland in February. 

Congratulations to our 11 pupils who made their Confirmation in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Westside on Friday 22nd October.  We are so proud of you all on your momentous day!
