Welcome to Junior 6

In Junior 6 the children are Sama, Luke, Mati, Martina, Dessie and Stephanie. The teacher is Aoife and the Snas are Mairead and Lisa. We are all so happy to be back with our friends and looking forward to a year full of fun and learning.

Music class

On Tuesdays and Thursdays we have music class with Cormac. We get to play different musical instruments from around the world. Here is a few pictures of us playing the African drum.

Nature Walk

The season is Autumn. The leaves are falling from the trees and changing colour. The leaves were green during the summer and are now turning red, yellow and brown. We collected leaves and brought them into the classroom.

Meeting an olympian

We went for a walk and bumped into olympian Fiona Murtagh. She won a bronze medal at the olympics in Tokyo. She let us try on her medal. It was very heavy.

Bike Week

 It was bike week this week. We saw a juggling show with a man on a very tall bike. We also went to a bike workshop to see how to fix our bikes. On Friday we had a treasure hunt where we had to find pictures of bikes. The mayor of Galway came to visit us in school too, her name is Colette Connolly.
